Volunteer Gardener, Wickford

Volunteer role title: Volunteer Gardener

Location: The Bungalow, 306 Southend Road, Wickford, Essex, SS11 8QW

Hours: 1 day per fortnight

Purpose of role
Volunteering will take place at our residential home in Wickford. The Bungalow is a 5-bedroom home for people with learning disabilities and/or autism. The gardener is required for general gardening, weeding and cutting back in the Bungalow garden. 

 

Attributes/skills needed
No professional experience is required, just a love of and some knowledge of horticulture.

 

Other related activities may include:
Volunteers are expected to attend face to face induction training and online learning and any other training that is considered to be relevant to the role.

 

Requirements

           Completed Volunteer Application Form (not required at this stage)
           Enhanced DBS (completed and paid for by Hamelin)
