We offer a range of respite services from daytime sessions and holiday breaks to long-term housing for people with profound learning and physical disabilities. Parents, carers and siblings can take time to look after their own welfare, safe in the knowledge that their loved one is receiving high quality care.
We know autistic people and people with learning disabilities want to have the same opportunities as everyone else. Our community support services will help you realise your life goals whether that’s to be more independent, find paid work, learn life skills or try different things and make new friends.
Our services are based in communities across Essex and support is offered through a variety of experienced staff, skilled volunteers and passionate peer mentors. It’s important to us that a lot of our support is delivered in ‘real life’ settings, but some sessions are more appropriately based in our buildings. You can see a map of our sites below.

Billericay is home to our community support services where individuals can learn key life skills, build friendships, and have fun.
The Bungalow in Wickford is our 5 bed purpose built home for young people and adults with profound and multiple learning and physical disabilities.
Gowlands is our 9 bedroom holiday home where disabled people can come and experience exciting activities, whilst offering a break from caring for families.
Roots & Shoots is our horticultural training project, which supports improvement of physical and mental wellbeing whilst enabling poeple to develop skills for life and work.
Our Hydrotherapy pool enables people to rehabilitate following trauma and manage long-term health conditions. Bespoke services are led by experienced physiotherapists.
