Volunteer Role Title: Volunteer Community Access Support Worker

Location: 19 Radford Crescent, Billericay, CM12 0DU

Hours: 1 day per week on a Friday approximately 10am – 2pm

Purpose of role
To assist staff with supporting people we support with learning disabilities and autism in accessing the community. This could be walking to local activities e.g. Billericay High Street, Lake Meadows or using public transport i.e. bus or train, to access activities in the Essex area e.g. Southend.

•           Empathy and patience
•           Practical and personal skills 
•           To understand the values of Hamelin 

 

Other related activities may include:
Volunteers are expected to attend face to face induction training and online learning and any other training that is considered to be relevant to the role

 

Requirements
           Completed Volunteer Application Form (not required at this stage)
•           Enhanced DBS (completed and paid for by Hamelin)
