Josie only started volunteering with our Life Skills service in Billericay in April, but she has already made a huge difference.
From day one, Josie has shown so much kindness and compassion towards the people we support. She has built fantastic relationships and has quickly become a valued member of the team.
Her nomination reads: "Josie has made a huge impact in a very short space of time. She engages so well with the people we support and they all feel calm, happy and comfortable around her.
"Staff have been quick to notice the difference she has made and have praised her caring and supportive approach. Josie is always willing to get stuck in and takes on every task with enthusiasm.
"She has also started supporting a gentleman out in the community and has been brilliant at encouraging conversation and helping him engage. Josie has become a real asset to the team and we are all incredibly grateful for everything she does."
