Jacob has been volunteering with Hamelin for the past year, first at Gowlands and more recently with our Ability Works employment project in Rochford.
Jacob brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role and is always willing to share ideas and support both participants and staff. Everything he does is focused on helping others and making sure participants get the most out of the project.
His nomination reads: "Jacob provides outstanding support to participants and staff alike. He is always encouraging, positive and understanding, and everything he does has the participants' best interests at heart.
"Jacob shares his ideas and suggestions freely and is always willing to step in and help wherever needed. With only one staff member running the Rochford project, Jacob's support has been invaluable. He has the confidence and ability to take the lead when needed, allowing sessions to continue smoothly.
