People supported by Hamelin are celebrating after completing ASDAN qualifications, helping them develop new skills, build confidence and expand their knowledge in areas that are important to them.
People across our services are currently working towards ASDAN qualifications in a range of subjects, providing opportunities to learn, explore new interests and work towards personal goals.
The latest participants completed courses in Careers & the World of Work, and Gardening, developing knowledge and practical skills that can support them in everyday life and open up new opportunities for the future.
ASDAN is an education charity that provides courses and qualifications designed to support personal development, independence and preparation for life and work. Its programmes offer a practical and flexible approach to learning, helping people build on their strengths, develop new abilities and celebrate their achievements.
For those taking part, completing a qualification is an opportunity to recognise their progress, build confidence and take pride in what they have accomplished.
Sue Wray, Head of Community at Hamelin, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for everyone who has completed their qualification. Learning something new, developing skills and working towards a goal can make a real difference to someone's confidence and independence.
“We're incredibly proud of the effort and commitment shown by everyone taking part. These qualifications are a great way to recognise individual progress and help people continue to develop their skills and explore new opportunities.
“Congratulations to everyone who has completed their ASDAN qualification. We look forward to supporting more people to learn, grow and achieve their goals.”
