🎈 Buy virtual balloons for just £3

✏️ Customise them fully

🏃 Watch them race through the skies in real time

🏆 Beat balloons around the country to win a prize

Every balloon helps Hamelin raise vital funds to help us create more opportunities for autistic adults and people with learning disabilities to build skills, connect with their communities and work towards the things that matter to them.

£6 could help provide gardening supplies for someone to grow their own fruit and vegetables, helping them learn how to produce their own food and practise independent living.

£12 could help cover the cost of an ASDAN Short Course book or learner registration, helping someone build practical skills and work towards a recognised qualification.

£24 could help 4 people enjoy a game of mini golf, giving them the chance to try something new, make connections and have fun together.

Get involved for fun, awareness or team building 🫂🤲

Whether you’re buying a balloon just for fun, getting friends and family involved, or looking for something a little different for your team, there are lots of ways to take part.

Businesses can customise balloons with their branding, making them a fun way to get your company involved while giving your brand some visibility throughout the race.

Or why not get colleagues involved and see whose balloon can travel the furthest? It’s a simple way to bring people together, add a bit of friendly competition and support a local charity at the same time.

A race without the waste 🌱🌎

The best part is that there are no real balloons involved so there’s no plastic waste or risk to wildlife - it’s all the fun of a balloon race without the environmental impact!

FAQ

Head to Hamelin’s EcoRacing page and scroll down to “Buy balloons for you”. You can buy as many as you like, and you can even gift balloons to friends and family.

Once you’ve bought your balloons, you can customise their colour, pattern, name, how much helium to use and how thick to make the material.

The race launches from Dracula’s Castle in Transylvania at 12pm on 31st October and lasts for 7 days.

This isn’t just a race of luck! Your choices can affect how your balloon performs and you’ll be able to track your balloon throughout the race.

The race uses real time weather conditions, including wind speed and temperature to determine how your balloons travel. A lighter balloon may travel faster but could be more likely to pop, while a thicker balloon may be more durable but slower.

Once it launches, you can watch your balloons here: https://ecoracing.co/racing/2026/Oct/halloween-race-2026/draculas-castle-transylvania
