Learning Disability Nurse
Location: Tendring
Base: Hybrid – community-based role with travel across GP practices and Hamelin sites
Salary: £27,673.60 per annum
Contracted Hours: 30 hours per week

Lead a new approach to improving health for people with learning disabilities
Hamelin is launching an ambitious pilot across Billericay and Tendring to help tackle one of the biggest health inequalities in the UK - the gap in health outcomes for people with learning disabilities.
We’re looking for a passionate Learning Disability Nurse to lead this work alongside local GP practices and wider community organisations.
About the role
This is not a traditional nursing role.
Working alongside our Director of Care and another Learning Disability Nurse, you’ll design and lead a new model of support, helping people understand their health, co-create meaningful Health Action Plans (HAPs), and achieve real improvements in their wellbeing.
