Your impact: 

As a Support Worker, you will work closely with the people we support, promoting their independence and supporting them to do the things they are passionate about.

You will join the committed team at our 9-bed short stay home, Gowlands, in Rochford, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional person-centred care and helping create unforgettable holiday experiences for our people. Your role will involve providing care, support, and assistance to guests, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable holiday experience.

In this role you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of others, helping them to live independently and participate in a range of activities. You will also be an ambassador, tailoring your approach to guests’ needs and advocating to ensure their voices are heard.

 

About you:

  • You have a genuine passion for empowering others, thinking differently and enhancing the lives of autistic adults and people with learning disabilities
  • You have an empathetic and patient nature, with the ability to respond calmly to a variety of situations
  • You embrace change and enjoy implementing new ideas 
  • You are willing to learn how to use technology as Microsoft Outlook and LogMyCare
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends
